YPAGs are actively involved in research – helping to steer projects towards better outcomes.

The Challenge

Our challenge was to develop a website that supports the work of young people aged 8-18 who are involved in helping to shape health research projects.

They needed an attractive, engaging design that works for all ages, as well as a blog, resource library and contact details for the network of Young People’s Advisory Groups or YPAGs across the UK.

The Solution

We got the young people actively involved in the design of the website.  Its layout, appearance and behaviour was defined by them, and realised by our designers.

The website now provides a contact point for YPAGs across the UK, a web presence for groups who lack in-house resources to create their own and a platform for sharing experiences and learning resources across the network.

Our YPAGs have written over 140 blogs about their experiences.  You can find out more from this short video by the Liverpool YPAG,  combining their passion for research with a visit to the hallowed cloisters of Anfield!
