We have been working with Equilibrium – The Bipolar Foundation for a number of years; helping build a website for people with bipolar disorder that’s populated with reliable information.

The site has been relaunched with a brand new design and blog: www.bipolar-foundation.org

It’s a great place to start if you are a patient, carer or health professional with an interest in bipolar disorder (also known as manic depression).  The site features video blogs from experts in the field, as well as the latest research fed through from PubMed.

The new design builds on the brand that was created a few years ago with new iconography and video content.  It makes the most of social media and also features online fundraising and an email newsletter for the 3,000 plus subscribers.

We have used WordPress to build this new site for Equilibrium.  Wordpress is a free, flexible, powerful content management system that we are increasingly using to launch new websites.  Many of our existing clients have decided to migrate their Phaedrus website into WordPress, as they can see the advantages of working within an open source system that features lots of functionality and excellent plug-ins.

We will be contacting our existing clients over the coming months to talk about these benefits, but if you would like to know more in the meantime, please do get in touch.

We have also produced a video introduction for the site by interviewing people with bipolar disorder and asking them about their experiences living with the condition.
