Finance Manager (maternity cover, 2-3 days a week)

Salary: In the region of £35,000 pro-rata

We are looking for a Finance Manager to join our team on a 12 month maternity cover, working 2-3 days a week from November/December 2009.

You will be responsible for payroll, invoicing, cash management, credit control, purchasing, journals, accruals and prepayments, bank reconciliation, expense payment processing and VAT returns.

You will also be responsible for producing monthly management accounts, as well as revenue and cash flow forecasts and maintaining central overhead arrangements such as insurance and rental.

You will be expected to work closely with the whole Minervation team (some of whom work remotely).

Essential Skills

  • Preparing monthly management accounts
  • Extensive experience of SAGE
  • Cash flow management
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office
  • Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and integrity
  • Excellent communication skills and a good eye for detail
  • Ability to work well in a team
Desirable Skills
  • A relevant degree (or equivalent qualification) in a finance, business accounting or management related subject.
