PiF is an 'independent group united by a common purpose, the development, production, and dissemination of high-quality information for patients, carers, and their families'.
The Patient Information Forum (PiF) provides the central coordination necessary to improve the quality of information, and a support network for those producing and disseminating health information on the front line.
Membership is open to anyone with an interest in health information and communication. Members come from the NHS, the public, commercial, academic and voluntary sectors, and working in a wide variety of roles and departments, including information, communications, knowledge management, marketing and publications. PALS officers and graphic designers share PiF membership with librarians, researchers and health care professionals.
We are a PiF member and have also worked closely with them since 2006 to build their web site.
Skills for Health
Skills for Health is the Sector Skills Council (SSC) for the UK health sector. Their aim is to 'help the whole sector develop solutions that deliver a skilled and flexible UK workforce in order to improve health and healthcare'.
In 2006 Minervation became a Skills for Health preferred supplier. We work with our team of Associates to deliver interesting and appropriate tenders that become available through Skills for Health.
